This guide will walk you through navigating the Discovery page and accessing the different types of results available.

Discovery Page: Accessing Research Results

The Discovery page on FunDeSci serves as a portal to the wealth of knowledge produced by our vibrant community of researchers. Here, users can explore the innovative outcomes of funded projects, ranging from preliminary findings to comprehensive study results.

Navigating to the Discovery Page

1. Access the Discovery Page: From the homepage of FunDeSci, click on the 'Discovery' tab in the top navigation menu.

2. Browse Results: Upon landing on the Discovery page, you'll be presented with a curated selection of research results from various projects.

Filtering Results

The Discovery page offers intuitive filters to help you find the results you're interested in:

• Access Type Filter: Use the sidebar to filter between 'Public Results' and 'Premium Results':

  • Public Results: Accessible to all visitors, these results offer a glimpse into the advancements and discoveries made by our researchers.

  • Premium Results: Exclusive to the funders who have acquired the project's NFT, providing in-depth insights and detailed findings.

• Category and Keyword Filters: Further refine your search by selecting popular categories or entering keywords related to your interests.

Accessing Public Results

Public results are freely available to all users:

1. Select 'Public Results': Filter the results to display all public submissions.

2. View a Result: Click on any result to open its detailed view where you can read the summary, view images, or download available documents.

Accessing Premium Results

Premium results require you to have funded the project and possess the corresponding NFT:

1. Connect Your Wallet: To verify ownership of the project's NFT, click on the 'Connect Wallet' button at the top of the Discovery page.

2. Filter for Premium Results: Once your wallet is connected, filter the results to display the premium submissions.

3. Accessing Content: Click on a premium result. If you hold the NFT for that project, you will gain access to the full content. If not, you will be prompted with information on how to fund the project and obtain the NFT.

Submitting Research Results

For researchers looking to submit their findings:

1. Navigate to Your Project: Go to the 'Project View' page and select the 'Result Submission' tab.

2. Submit New Result: Fill in the details of your findings and upload any relevant documents or images.

3. Choose Result Type: Before submission, decide on the access level of your result by checking the appropriate box:

   • Leave unchecked for Public Results.

   • Check the box to designate as Premium Results.
